A. With respect to the Road Crossroads function, Ankang andAnkHTZ  are crossed by:

·a major road artery (new motorway) running in northern to southern Direction (Xi’an – Chongqing), which further on, towards the South of the country; it is bifurcating in Ankang to join the motorway to Chengdu;

·a major artery (new motorway) running from Lanzhou, Gansu Province, to Wuhan, Hubei Province, further on, to Shanghai 

and the south-eastern provinces or the southern provinces of the country, 

whereby Ankang is the optimal logistic point of transshipment, if convenient, which is growingly used for cargo by heavy duty trucks.

 

 

B.The same has to be said regarding Rail transportation, both of passengers and of cargo trains, as Ankang holds an optimal 

crossroads function for trains on the tracks.

 

·Urumqi-Lanzhou-Hanzhong-Shiyan-Wuhan 

(as an important branch of the Eurasian connection) 

·Baotou-Xi’an-Ankang-Chongqing etc. or Baotou-Xi’an-Ankang-Chengdu etc. 

Ankang and AnkHTZ are determined to expand their respective logistic advantages in agreement with the Government of Shaanxi.

C. Airways The previously military airport, situated on the territory of the Zoneat a distance of only 5 km from  AnkHTZ, is being 

modified for contemporary civilian domestic use, at present.

This hub for passengers and cargo shall serve for connections to at least 4 cities in China. The airport shall be opened for 

transportation in 2016. It will abbreviate journeys from Ankang to the other major economic centres of the country or to countries abroad 

(with one stopover in China). 

And viceversa, considerably, thus becoming another logistic advantage for Ankang and for Ank HTZ. 

We shall keep the interested industries informed on its further development.
